Logistics Unit
The Logistics unit is responsible for all property in custody which is found, recovered, safekeeping, and evidentiary in nature that has been accepted and stored in the department's storage area. When the property is evidence it is secured in such a manner that it has value as evidence at the time it is presented to the courts. Otherwise the property is secured in an appropriate manner until it is returned to its rightful owner.
